Under the threat of ongoing power cuts and rolling black outs, ABC decided to be proactive and have installed a 800 KVA Standby generator that can power up the entire plant within two minutes of any Escom failure. The successful commissioning of this generator reassures our valued clients that our ability to provide our normal turnaround and service will not be compromised by any regional or localized power failures in any way going forward.
We are very pleased to announce that 2 of our prestigious books produced in recent months were selected as finalists for the Sappi Book Printer of the year awards. The award ceremony was held in June and ABC secured a Silver and Bronze i.e. second and third for these two books. These awards were adjudicated together with 350 other entries.
